As a fan of Penguin Classics and their iconic book cover template, I wanted to challenge myself to create a cover design within their parameters. To emulate their classic and elegant design style, I looked through a variety of older covers and decided to go with an etched, traditional looking illustration. From there, I recreated the layout of the design template by basing it off of a Penguin Classic book that I have at home.
