After seeing so many McDonald’s collaborations, especially with beloved childhood media like Minecraft and Hello Kitty, I wanted to create my own. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved the illustration and detail that belongs to the anime Sailor Moon. To put my own twist on it however, I combined Sailor Moon with the popular Japanese sakura flower, which I also decided to use as a running theme for a unique limited time flavor. Each happy meal toy was designed and rendered using the 3D tool in illustrator, and are based off of Sailor Moon’s magical devices with that sakura flower twist.
